Are you and your partner feeling disconnected?
Does it seem that all you do is fight? ...Or avoid each other?
Have you tried everything you can think of to make things better?
The most common concern that we hear is poor communication with one's partner. When communication isn't working, every part of the relationship suffers.
Do you feel sad or anxious?
Do you feel like no one understands you?
Do you have a hard time sleeping because you are worrying?
You're not alone.
There are many reasons why people seek therapy. What do you struggle with?
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life!
But what about all of the days that follow?
Are you ready for this?
Planning for your wedding is exciting! From choosing the rings, the flowers, picking the perfect music...there is so much to prepare for to make your big day romantic and memorable. It's exciting to think about building your life together, planning for the future, maybe starting a family, or perhaps blending two families. This is precisely why it is so important to make sure that you are ready "for better" or "for worse". Taking the step to join your lives together is a choice that has no guarantees.
The good news is that there is something you can do to make sure you and your fiancé are ready to face whatever comes your way. Statistics show that couples who participate in Pre-Marital Therapy have a 30% higher marital success rate than those who do not.
A minimum of 24 hours in advance of your session is required in order to cancel a scheduled therapy session.
If prior and timely notification is not given, you will be charged the full session fee for the missed session.
Cash, checks, and credit cards are all acceptable forms of payment. We accept most major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept Health Saving Account cards (HSA), Paypal, and Venmo.
We do not accept Commercial Insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare at this time.
We are out-of-network providers for insurance at this time. If you wish to use your insurance, we are happy to provide you with an invoice/superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider, or your flexible spending account, for reimbursement. Prior to counseling, please contact your insurance to determine the costs that your insurance will cover.
Please note: When considering the use of your insurance for the reimbursement of services, you should be aware that most insurance companies require that you be given a diagnosis. Furthermore, if you have an insurance policy that is reviewed by one of the managed health care companies, they may want detailed information as to your personal history, drug/alcohol use, and additional information, plus the progress of treatment. Many times, health insurance companies may only authorize a certain number of sessions averaging ten or less.
Sliding scale fee may be available. We reserve a limited number of spaces in our caseloads for clients who are unable to afford to pay the full fee for services. We understand that therapy can be costly, and we feel it is important to provide affordable services to those seeking help. If that is you, feel free to ask about the possibility of a sliding scale fee arrangement.
*Ask about discounted rates for college students, active military, and clergy.
The first step in therapy is talking. Let's find a time where we can meet and talk about what's on your mind.
At Hope for the Journey, we are committed to your well-being.
